Description
When I found out from EIDOS that Bane was gonna' start as a 'cracked-out-steroid-cow' I was a happy happy Man!!! 
...I wanted to push the idea that this is a guy that normally walks around at 300 pounds of muscle (much more when 'Venomed' out), and now, because he was basically being 'milked' for who knows how long, he has withered away.
In hindsight, I should have made his skin look much more 'loose'... like people that are extremely overweigh and loose the weight too rapidly... also, I wanted to make his mask metallic so it looks VERY heavy on him in this state... I just wanted him to feel really pathetic at this point... a ' powerhouse ' who's unable to lift his own head in this state.
In the final version, the 'Bane' pattern was sculpted on his mask, but my initial idea is that the guards scribbled it on the helmet as a way to mock him.

Yeah for Rocksteady's first attempt at a Bane that you as Batman fight against in highnsight isn't the best that would be Arkham origins version. Still the way this withered Bane goes from being as dehydrated as a mummy to an over 500 pound monster definitely gets across how powerful venom and titan is.
