I grew up in the North American Southwest, so I've always had an affinity for Native American Imagery... I specially love those oooold black and white photos of Chieftains... there's an honesty to those photographs that is hard to describe, specially when you think in hindsight to what happened to the great majority of those tribes.... anyway, this started out as a doodle in a sketchbook looking at some of those old images... this is no one in particular, I was looking at different photographs and this is an amalgamation of those.... then I scanned it to do some simple coloring and it just kinda' went off on it's own! :)

I've been drawing so many superheroes lately that it was nice to do a different subject matter... I hate it when the brain starts to feel stagnant.
