If I am not mistaken, this might have been the first stab at designing Poison Ivy, so as you can see, it pretty much went through without any major changes... initially, the idea I had is that her hair would always move like it was underwater... moving slowly and weightless ... also with the idea is that she's so beautiful and actually 'toxic', that just being around her would begin to poison you and send you on a bad trip.
The concept of Ivy for me is simple, she's supposed to be a greek goddess of temptation, or a Mermaid of sorts, she attracts you with her looks, then kills you!  ... AND with that said, the modelers and animators at Rocksteady made her sexy as hell! |
