... and here's Gotham's 'heavy armor' SWAT guy... once again, my thinking is that these poor bastard's equipment dates back to riot gear from the 70's, but at the same time it has a very durable, and almost 'death squad' feel to it... the small goggles hopefully take away it's 'soul', making the wearer just look like a mean-bastard shock-trooper! 
...in hindsight, I should have made the weapons look older too... oh well!

SMG is based on MP5, design from 1964-66. Shotgun has clear SPAS-12(1982) feel. In the end both look like someone took old guns in the inventory and tried to modernize them with plastic furniture and accessories instead of procuring more modern guns. So yeah, they fit nicely.
