DCOMMO.Bane.design by Chuckdee DCOMMO.Bane.design by Chuckdee
... this bastard here is my rendition of Bane for the DCO game... I did this one before I got the gig to work on Arkham Asylum, so this was a nice warm-up.... I was looking at what Kelly Jones had originally done with Bane back in the 90's, and I wanted to do a bit of that with Bane's anatomy and proportions.... for the mask though, I was more inspired with what they had done on 'Batman the animated series' ...that was the first time I realized that Bane's supposed to be wearing a Mexican wrestler mask... I NEVER knew that 'cause I didn't get that AT ALL from the original version... so this one is more of my 'homage' to the Bane from the cartoon!

I think the finished version didn't have his mouth exposed... kinda wish it had... oh well... I got to show his mouth on Arkham Asylum!!! :)

I personally like Bane where the mouth isn't exposed.

Bane should have looked like this! Instead of the giant Godzilla Bane.

thank you.... for the most part I stopped using mirroring though... things always look a bit weird unless you are dealing with monsters and stuff like that! :) ... still, for info to give to 3D modelers it get's the job done! :)
