here's another design for the DCO MMO... this one also belongs to HIVE, and this is their BIG soldier... I kinda imagine a poor bastard being genetically enhanced and permanently grafted onto the armor... so it's not removable... he's in there 'till he/she dies in battle... kinda like Bees.

This one I collaborated with Ed Nunez (check him out here on Deviant)... the way we'd usually work would be for me to do the roughs, then Ed would define my mess and clean it up and add his flair, then I'd go back in at the end for the 'spit-polish'... with quite a few of these, it's hard to tell where my drawing ends, and Ed's starts. Ed and I have known each other since high-school, so we already have a symbiotic thing going on! :)

I was also really happy with the color design of this one... I think JJ Kirby (also a fellow deviant) might have come up with that one.

I read recently that Oliver Nome said your designs looked like action figures.He was right.This would be a bad ass figure!

I realy love the tiny arms. This part looks definitely like insectoid. Well, the wings, the helmet and antenna looks insectoid also.

Never faught against those on DCO MMO. But I wish I had. All your works for DCO looking nice. I love your art.

can't really take too much credit for that... the idea is based on insects mind you, BUT the master of this kind of design is Masamune Shirow. :)

this was a collaboration, so it's hard to gauge the time exactly... without distractions and messing around, this takes about a work day more or less. :)
