This here was another 'Braniac Faction' design for the DCO MMO.... some of the other mech I had designed up to this point were a bit more "pseudo-realistic", so with this one I wanted to do something MUCH more Anime-big-robot-inspired.... it's a pretty big mech, I imagine about six or seven stories high, AAAAAND who doesn't like big humanoid robots??? :)

The big head for a chest-piece is an OOOOOOLD idea (all the way back to the Bronze-age of armor-making), but this one was a nod to Gurren Lagann, an Anime series I was really into at the time (which in itself is a nod to old-school-giant-robot-anime).

... oh yeah, since this one had a tight deadline, the very very talented (and fellow Deviant) JJ Kirby helped me color this one! :)
