This is one of my favorite characters of ALL time.... he doesn't really do much in Moebius stories, BUT the visual impact this had in me when I first discovered it was nothing short of mind-melting!!! ...'sides, drawing that weird hat of his is always really damn fun! :)

I had done this years ago as a little doodle in a sketchbook, and for some reason, I decided to scan it and color it.... I miss having free time to just do 'fun drawing'! :(

That is a pretty amazing Moebius derivative! It actually bears some of his look, to my mind... his costumes are always so recognizable.

heheheh, this is not a Moebius derivative, this is a Moebius character called Arzach, one of the very first things I saw from him and instantly fell in love with his work! :)

I realize. I don't mean it's derivative, just that it's got some of his feel to it. Probably just because it IS one his characters, and his costuming is so recognizable. Overall, though, I don't mean the art is simillar.

heheh, as a Moebius fanboy I was trying to do my hardest to make it feel like his stuff (although poorly :)) so yeah, it's meant to be derivative in a sense! It's like doing a Conan, I would LOOOOVE it if my Conan's felt even a BIT like Buscema, and with Arzach it's the same, it BETTER feel like Moebius! hehe
